Morgan at 5.5 weeks

Morgan has really exploded the past few days! Here are some pictures of her today.

Also, a friend was able to ultrasound Morgan and give us an official puppy count! She is expecting 9 puppies!! On ultrasound exam, they all looked healthy and active! Here are some 3D Ultrasound photos we took of one of the puppies! The second one has the puppy drawn so you can see it. You can even see it's little ear and legs!

I am getting very excited. Just over 3 weeks to go now!!!!

Morgan - just short of 5 weeks

Morgan is doing good.

Her belly is quite noticeable from the side now and she is quite "wide" when viewed from the top. We are about 1/2 through her pregnancy! The biggest changes are yet to come.

Morgan at 3.5 weeks

I will try to update this weekly with a new photo of Morgan as she "grows" with her puppies. Here is one to start with, you can see a slight drop to her tuck up as she stands, however, she definetly looks heavier to me when she is laying down.

She is already complaining...... I told her it has just begun!

Morgan is Pregnant - our first litter!

We are very excited to announce that Morgan is officially pregnant! The litter is due the last week of August!

About Morgan

Where do I start with Morgan? Born on August 3rd, 2007, she is sired by Tyler (Ableaim I'm in a Hurry MC) and Reese (Ch Meisterhaus Goldie Hawnd SC ROMX). (Her breeders are Gail and Jenny Boyd and A. Tad Brooks.) This girl has grown up so fast. She is definitely her Papa's girl at home, but get her in the show ring and her attention is all on me. During her first year and a half she was occasionally shown, earning a total of 3 majors wins, 2 Best of Breeds and a Group 2 placement. In 2009, we took some time off from the show ring to go Lure Coursing. Not only did Morgan greatly enjoy this change, she finished the year a major short of her championship title and in the Top 15 for 2009 AKC Lure Coursing! Way to go Morgan! In 2010 we headed back to the ring, where she finished her bench championship in March of 2010 with a 4th major win. Only 2 months later she finished her field championship title (May of 2010) and became a Dual Champion! Between events, Morgan enjoys her time on the sofa, snuggling her Mom and Papa and playing with her "best friend" Spirit! I couldn't ask for a girl with better and more loving personality! We are proud to announce that on August 22, 2011, Morgan provided us with both her and our first litter of puppies (The "Blonde" litter). We are extremely proud of Morgan and pleased with the puppies from her. Check out the puppies own Blog (The Blonde Brigade) for updates on them.
